Meet some members of the Evergreen Rehabilitation team:
Liz Barlow, Evergreen Rehabilitation VP of Clinical Services
I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Nursing. I worked as an RN in an Acute Rehab Facility in Atlanta, GA which piqued my interest in the rehab field. I’ve since worked in long‐term care for almost 20 years and have served in a variety of roles including Case Manager, Marketing Director, Medicare Nurse, Rehab Director, and National Director of Quality Improvement. As Vice President of Clinical Services, I oversee the clinical aspects of Rehab Optima to assure accurate documentation. I work closely with the Director of Compliance to assure that we are compliant and following Medicare guidelines. I also provide education through orientation as needed throughout the company. When I first started with Evergreen, we had 14 contracts! I have really seen this company grow. I am proud of Evergreen and how it has maintained its culture throughout its growth. I love how the home office has an “Open Door” policy that allows anyone to call or speak with any of us, our CEO included. Our passion for our employees shows in this environment and in awards like the Four Star Award. My personal life keeps me busy – I’m married and have two boys, ages 13 and 11. I like to take walks, read, and (as time allows) cook! I love to continue learning and I have completed certifications in Rehab, MDS, nurse leadership, and I’ve also completed a Legal Nurse Consulting course. I also have a Real Estate License.
Donna Campbell, Evergreen Rehabilitation VP of Recruiting
I have been a recruiter for most of my working life, beginning with General Electric, then moving to Kraft Foods in earlier years. As a healthcare recruiter, I have been fortunate to have worked for great companies such as Norton Healthcare (Director of Executive Recruiting) and Kindred Healthcare (Director of Corporate Recruiting and Director of Rehab Recruiting). There is almost no position in healthcare that I have not staffed at some point. Here at Evergreen, I manage the Recruiting function, overseeing the various methods we use to attract the best therapists. My 5‐year relationship with Evergreen Rehab has been more than I could have hoped for. The corporate staff is a really hard‐working group that does everything possible to support the field’s efforts to treat our patients and serve our clients. While the atmosphere is casual, with minimal meetings, reports, etc., everyone is intensely focused on improving their department’s functions. A big advantage Evergreen has is being large enough to be competitive, yet small enough to get things done. Management is responsive and truly values loyalty and teamwork. The Recruiting Department is happiest when we’ve just filled an open position with a great therapist! During my time off, like most people, I enjoy movies, books, music, travel, dining out, and spending as much time as possible with family and friends.
